Bingo is held in Conlon Hall every Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. and every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm.

Carnival Committee
Help create, coordinate and implement the annual Carnival to work toward greater financial security for the parish.

Finance Council
An appointed council advises the pastor on financial matters affecting the
parish. As an integral part of the church, this council is concerned with the
planning, reviewing and monitoring of budgets, fund raising, and proper maintenance and upkeep of the church property.

Golden Age Club
This group is a
Seniors' Social Club whose members participate in trips, bingo, and other activities.
They meet the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month
at 1 p.m. in the cafeteria of Conlon Hall.

The Holy Name Society is a Confraternity of the Catholic Church which fosters reverence for the Name and Personal Divinity of Christ.
The members honor the Holy Name of Jesus.

Knights of Columbus
St. John's Council #1345
is a religious, fraternal,and charitable organization

Rainbows for all God's Children
This program provides non-sectarian aid
for pre-school and school-age children whose parents have separated or divorced, or died.
Sessions begin in September. The program is held at St. John's Parish Life Center on
Tuesdays at 5:00 - 6:00 pm.

The Rosary Society
Rosarians are dedicated to the Blessed Mother and pledge to
follow her example of service. This group meets the first Monday of each month in Conlon Hall.

School Advisory Board
This group of
parents and non-parents serve on a board as an advisory and representative body for
the purpose of developing and adapting policy subject to the approval of the Board of Pastors
and the principal of Transfiguration Academy. The board meets every other month during the school year.

Scouting Programs
Scouting
is a program which provides a child and his/her family with the opportunity to discover and grow mentally, physically, and spiritually.
St. John's Boy Scout Troop 139
The Tiger Scouts, Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts, and Venture Scouts of Troop 139
participate in a variety of activities, including camping trips and service projects.
St. John's Girl Scout Troops
Girl Scouting teaches girls to have a greater
understanding and respect for the differences among us. It teaches the importance of
community service, self-esteem, sharing and caring, and encourages girls to develop
to their full potential, and Girl Scouts have fun!
St. John's sponsors Daisy troop #8, Brownie troop #15, Junior Troop #21, and Cadette Troop #26.

Senior Citizens Club
A non-sectarian club
for Seniors ages 50+ whose members enjoy luncheons, educational information sessions, lectures,
performances, trips, and parties. This group meets 2nd and 4th Fridays of the
month at 1 p.m. in the cafeteria of Conlon Hall.

Trustees are the members of the parish as a legal entity.

Volunteer Maintenance Committee
This group of
volunteers provides services for improving all of our parish buildings, such as: patching holes
in walls and ceilings, painting, decorating, etc. These services satisfy the time and talent
portion of our Stewardship program.
